Who We Are
Neeshee Pandit is a practitioner of Ayurvedic Medicine and Medical Qigong. He graduated from the California College of Ayurveda in 2016 with degrees as an Ayurvedic Health Educator and Ayurvedic Health Practitioner. Concurrently, Neeshee studied with Vaidya Ramakant Mishra, lineage holder of the Shaka Vansya Ayurveda tradition. As a certified practitioner within the Shaka Vansya Ayurveda lineage, Neeshee completed studies and practicum in pulse diagnosis and marmā therapy, and holds the title of Prānavid (or "Knower of Prāna").
Neeshee is also a student of traditional Tibetan Medicine at Shang Shung Institute's School of Tibetan Medicine, founded by Dzogchen Master Chogyal Namkhai Norbu in Conway, MA. Under Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo, the Shang Shung School of Tibetan Medicine offers a traditional four-year curriculum (including Tibetan language), covering the Four Medical Tantras while also training students in a wide range of external therapies in the context of practicums. Neeshee is currently in his second year of study of Tibetan Medicine. At the conclusion of his curriculum, he will have the opportunity to attend a three-month internship at Tso-nogon Medical Hospital in Amdo, Tibet.
In mid-2016, , Neeshee and his partner, Nicole Ortega, trained with Qigong Masters, Jane Yang and Paul Litchfield at their Qigong Therapy Centre in Melbourne, Australia. During this training, they learned a unique form of Medical Qigong Therapy called "Wuji Qigong". Wuji means the "purest original force". Wuji Qigong is the transmission of the primordial life-energy to restore balance in the human physiology at its energetic roots. Neeshee has found that Wuji Qigong treatments have been able to address the energetic roots of imbalances in his patients, even at a cellular level. He recommends that his patients receive Wuji treatments regularly--and, on that basis, begin to incorporate the diet and lifestyle changes that he recommends.
Nicole Ortega is a licensed massage therapist who offers a broad range of external therapies. In addition to offering massage, Nicole specializes in Ayurvedic oil massage called abhyānga. From 2012-2015, she studied Structural Integration (Rolfing) at the Guild For Structural Integration on Kauai. She was taught by Emmet Hutchins, who was one of Dr. Ida Rolf's original and long-time students, personally trained by her. Nicole has a deep respect for the practical and holistic approach of Dr. Ida Rolf's structural integration system, as well as a passion for life-long learning while continues her personal education through study and practice.
Neeshee and Nicole are devotees of His Divine Presence, Avatar Adi Da Samraj. Their spiritual practice is a profound and principal dimension of their lives and deeply informs their approach to health and healing. Every year they embark on extended meditation retreats at Adi Da's Hermitage of Naitauba Island. Neeshee and Nicole feel that it is only through the gifts and transmission of their Guru that the light of healing has dawned in their life. With gratitude for the blessings of all their teachers, they look forward to sharing the light of healing with everyone who comes to see them.
